I've been singing all my life. I started out singing gospel songs. Because I grew up in a poverty stricken home, I could not receive any musical training through my parents. But God, in His Sovereignty, moved my little church to pay for my singing lessons when I was just 15 years old. I went on to study further and sang classical, theatre, spirituals, pop and a variety of other styles of songs in concert settings for several years.
However, my chief purpose was and is to give God glory, to be a person who gives Him honor in all things pertaining to life.
So, in His time and for His purposes, after 30 years of waiting, I have now recorded a 15-song CD called "You" for your personal use. All but one are original tunes. My intent is to tell you of God's remarkable Love, His saving Grace and to express my love for family and creation. The title song, "You", is all about things God has done for me on my journey and my gratefulness to Him. It's a spiritual love song.
And there might be a special song or two here for you. Or the whole CD might just speak to you in some amazing way.
I hope it touches you, moves you, gives you peace, shows you truth.....and that you experience the Spirit of Life behind it.
